Introduction
A heartbreaking tragedy has turned into a story of hope and freedom for a Christian family in Pakistan. After losing three sons in a tragic electrical accident, an elderly father and his remaining son have finally been freed from the chains of bonded labor in Sargodha.
Tragic Incident Leaves Family Devastated
In a deeply sorrowful incident near 78 Pull, Sargodha, three young sons of Nasser Masih lost their lives due to a high-voltage electric shock. The sudden loss plunged the family into grief and left them emotionally and financially shattered.
Already burdened by poverty, the family had been working in brick kiln labor under a heavy debt, which effectively trapped them in bonded labor conditions.
Freedom from Bonded Labor
In a remarkable act of compassion and unity, two Christian organizations — Christ Welfare Youth and The Christian Crown Church — stepped forward to help.
Through their collective efforts, the outstanding debt owed to the brick kiln owner was fully paid. As a result, Nasser Masih and his son Ashraf Masih have now been released from bonded labor and can begin a new chapter of life in freedom.
A New Beginning for the Family
This freedom marks a turning point for the grieving family. After enduring both personal loss and economic hardship, they now have the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.
The organizations involved expressed gratitude to God for making this possible and reaffirmed their commitment to helping more families trapped in similar conditions.
Community Support and Prayers Requested
Members of the Christian community have been urged to keep Nasser Masih and his family in their prayers. Supporters hope that God will grant them peace, strength, and blessings in their new journey.
This incident also highlights the ongoing issue of bonded labor in Pakistan and the urgent need for continued humanitarian efforts.
